Great location with the garden leading directly to a quiet and beautiful beach yet close enough to lots of lively restaurants and bars. We feel we got a real Mauritius experience. Our Housekeeper Annicke was so pleasant and helpful and the support from Marie of Smartvillas was always there for us when needed.

We had a great vacation and enjoyed Mauritius a lot (3 weeks in January 2017). The villa was exactly as described and equipped with everything we needed. The area (Roches Noires) is very calm and the private beach was absolutely amazing and looked like on a postcard. The only thing that is quite annyoing are all these abandoned dogs on the beach that seem to be a big problem on the whole island.
We had an excellent cook (Sylvianne) every day that prepared the most wonderful seafood dishes. Her husband is a fisherman and everything was very nice and fresh.
Marie from Smartvillas did a great job and was very caring and helpful with every request that we had. We will and have already recommended Smartvillas and will definetly book with them again. However, next time we will follow Maries advise and book the airport transfer upon arrival and have the car deilvered to the villa. As it is quite exhausting to drive after such a long journey.
