Patrick Mavros opened the doors of his showroom, in the heart of the historic Sugar Estate of Beau Plan, next to l’Aventure du sucre Museum. The experience of the Atelier Patrick Mavros is a fascinating journey of crafts and curiosities. Specializing in the design and manufacture of jewelry and art objects for over 40 years, this family business has its roots in Africa.
Founded in Zimbabwe, Patrick Mavros has been manufacturing in Mauritius for 12 years.
With his London flagship store open more than a decade ago, and his shop in Nairobi, Patrick Mavros has, over the years, gained an international recognition.
Opened in a 160-year-old metal foundry, the concept is part space age laboratory and part medieval foundry!
Visitors are guided through a working jewelery workshop and invited to meet the formidable team of master craftsmen who create complex works of art inspired by nature.

Combining a complex know-how with an intrepid family heritage, Patrick Mavros has created some of the most extraordinary creations in Africa, jewelry and sculptures in sterling silver and 18-carat gold made by hand in his workshops in Zimbabwe and Mauritius. Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the Wonderland of Mavros.
