We absolutley enjoyed our holiday in Villa Porcelaine in May/June 2024, which was our fourth stay in this property. It was simply great and I just can confirm our first review written in 2017. The villa kept its high standard over the years thanks to the continous maintenence done by the owner. Brinda and Lalita (the maids) did a great job to feel yourself at home far away from everyday life. I also want to mention the great hospitality from Marie who is her to organize and help you with whatever you need to make your stay even more enjoyable and relaxing (just a short phone call away).

So we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Porcelaine.. The villa was in great location and a good size. We very much enjoyed the deck and openness and appreciated all the seating. Pool was nice although didn’t use a lot. The house had all we needed and the bonus was having Preety and Brenda who were helpful and considerate and very friendly and made our stay more than pleasant and our bodies even bigger with great local Mauritian dishes. Lastly thanks to Benedicte for all our communications and assistance with our booking.

Thank you so much Marie, we had great three weeks on the Island in May/June 2017, this time we stayed in Villa Porcellaine which was our fourth stay with Smartvillas. The villa was simply outstanding, very spacious, excellent modern design, perfectly clean with a superb view to Coin de Mire Island. The two maids Pretty and Brinda made this holiday perfectly relaxing with unique Mauritian cooking (some of their dishes are making their way in our regular menu). Just cannot wait to come to the island again and not to forget what ever you might need Marie is here to assist you with every need or whish you might have, only a short phone-call away.

We chose the villa to spend a two week family celebraton over Christmas 2014 with our two sons in their twenties. It looked wonderful in the photos and was even better in reality. We are lucky enough to travel a lot and have high standards but his was the loveliest villa and setting that we have ever stayed in. The house is just wonderful, right on the beach and perfect for relaxing. We became very lazy as we just wanted to stay in and enjoy the house and location. We loved the kayaks and were able to arrange boat-trips very easily. The area is a real bonus as the actual house and location is a real retreat and so tranquil but the small town with its restaurants, supermarkets etc is just nearby and easily within walking distance. The agency was wonderful and helpful in arranging the car and taxi service and we got to love Preety and Brenda who were with us every morning to cook and clean. We were really spoilt by them (especially the fresh mango smoothies) and just loved their company; it made our holiday even more interesting. We will return without doubt and completely recommend the villa to anyone looking for a large comfortable holiday house in a stunning location.
